Getting it out of the way, I like Kelly. I feel like her pose will get us into trouble on certain platforms. Can't be helped, can it? While not a full reproduction, she's based on this illustration by saitom
Kelly's face isn't that striking in figure-form, there's less detail and expression in her face. The distribution of space between her nose and mouth is off, resulting in her mouth sitting too low. Her hair looks nice and gradually gains detail towards the middle-bottom. The numerous individual tips at the bottom is where her hair shines, so to speak. The tufts sticking out is a nice touch captured from the illustration, showing that her hair isn't in a perfect bob.
Her body is beautiful and I like how her breasts seem to pour into her bunny suit from the side. But there's an issue with the painting from the directly overhead angle, in that her breasts look joined. The above-the-hip cut of her bunny suit draws attention to her wide hips and plump thighs, which are nicely sculpted. Comparing her hands with her illustration, there's a loss of detail in her wrist. For example, the wrist bone is defined, so are the knuckles and joints. Here, there's no emphasis on her wrist bone; it looks thick. I mentioned that her breasts look joined from the upper angle, but her middle and ring fingers on her left hand are glued together too.
Moving on to her clothing, the creasing in her jacket looks good from any angle. The creasing isn't the only that's good about it, but also the 80's vibe it has with its off-white coloring. I like how her collar matches the coloring of her bunny suit. Even in small ways, the colors all tie into one another. I may like Kelly's boots with their audacious heels and loud pink color the most.
Thanks for reading, what do you think of Kelly?
