The 1/7th scale figure of Saber/Altria Pendragon “under the same sky” has arrived from the extremely popular game Fate/Grand Order.
Altria is based on a promotional illustration by character designer Takeuchi Takashi commemorating the game’s fifth anniversary. With a dignified pose, she wears a pure white dress. Her blue cape is grand in appearance and all the more impressive as it flutters in the wind, resulting in a voluminous finish faithful to the original design.
The way Altria gently smiles while gazing at you suggests her endearing nature as a dignified knight-king. Her dress’ lace and frills were delicately sculpted. And much consideration also went into faithfully replicating her sword “Caliburn.” By all means, please welcome this special Altria into your collection.

Hello, we’re going to give Aniplex’s Saber/Altria Pendragon a quick look today. She’s from Fate/Grand Order’s fifth-anniversary project, “under the same sky.” Saber’s also based on an illustration by her original character designer, Takeuchi Takashi.
If we start from the top, we also start with the good bits. First, her ahoge curling or twirling through her crown. It’s cute and not too long either. There’s nothing serious about Saber today, so this minor touch is welcomed in that it fits with the celebratory mood she’s conveying.
The rest of her hair doesn’t contain the character of her ahoge and crown. But it is the rest of her hair that is impeccable. Her thick fringe and sidelocks are fairly detailed afar and look much better up close. The sides and back contain all of the action, so to speak. Her hairstyle was thought out. Starting from the sides, the strands aren’t perfectly aligned. That makes the way they lead to her half-bun at the back believable. And at the back, the strands swirl out with her braid finishing off the look.
From a three-quarter angle, you can see her fringe, the side of her head, and the start of her braid. It’s a very good angle. But it’s difficult to say it’s the best angle. There’s a new and appealing area that shows up in each one. Her pretty dark green eyes impart a slightly different feeling depending on the angle. She almost has a sidelong glance in her profile.
