Pre-orders are open for GoodShow’s Tokisaki Kurumi Sumi Iro Cheongsam Ver. from Date A Live Spirit Pledge. By now, we’ve seen Kurumi in a variety of traditional clothing from the Orient and now, in a coy but seductive crossed legged pose, she graces us in an incredibly short and skintight white, red, and brown cheongsam! Seated on a leaf just above the water, Kurumi is surrounded by a modest array of blossoming flowers with the sumi portrait as the backdrop, thus skillfully recreating the scene from which she has been based.

They’ve done an outstanding job in translating her nonchalant pose and crimson hair draped over her shoulder and guard railing. Based on an illustration from momoco’s artbook “arietta” comes the aptly named Bunny-chan. Designed by nocturnas, Bunny-chan wears a burgundy tailcoat and deep brown stockings that match each other and the setting really well. That said, her eyes aren’t a bright shade turquoise blue as in the illustration. Nor can her smile be seen really well against her fair skin.
