From the popular anime series, "The Quintessential Quintuplets", comes a scale figure of the eldest quintuplet, Nakano Ichika!

She's been sculpted sitting on a desk while holding her leg. It's a model-like pose in which Ichika's maturity envelops you as does her impressive and somewhat provocative smile. Additionally, a confused and flustered face is also included! With it, you may enjoy a precious, rarely-seen side of Ichika.

Finally, she can be removed from the desk which acts as her base. This gives you the option of placing her on your favorite flat surface. Her right loafer is also separate, so as with Ichika herself, you may choose where you'd like to place it.

We chose to use the localized series name "The Quintessential Quintuplets" in our translation of the description instead of the Japanese name "Go-Toubun no Hanayome" or "Five-Part Bride".

Thinking about the manga, they devoted a lot of time in making the quintuplets cute. By "cute", I mean showing girlish mannerisms like playing with their hair and devoting panels to their wrists, fingers and hands, and also them changing stances. With that in mind, I feel that Kotobukiya did a nice job here in showing various sides of her. They didn't do a bad job with Miku before her, but as the description stated, you can feel Ichika in this pose. Her included faces also show her character, not only her maturity.

Another thing I like and very much so, is that you may place her wherever you want, providing the surface is flat. Kotobukiya's figures usually don't require assembly. As such, they come glued or screwed to their bases, so this is a nice touch considering. Dust accumulating on the precious Ichika would however be a dissuading factor for a number of people, if she was placed in an open area like a desk or bookshelf.

If I could, I'd have both shoes removed and Ichika only wearing her socks. It feels more casual that way. And if it were like that, you would be able to place her on a fluffy scale bed (in a sealed cabinet away from the dust). Did you notice that she's wearing outdoor shoes instead of indoor ones?

Anyway, unless you're enamored with either expression and won't change it, her exclusive "sincere smile" expression is a must-buy for the quintessential quintuplet. So, what do you think of Ichika?
