Set for the new year, but not quite, comes Azur Lane’s “Jean Bart First Snow in the Cutless’ Edge Ver.” by WINGs! Based on ASK’s artwork, Jean Bart features lovely earthy tones with a dash of red for a brilliant contrast. The French pirate with a disinterested look as she reaches for a katana, wears an off-shoulder dark brown furisode kimono in light brown floral print. Beneath her kimono, her yellow dress and brown boots are reminiscent of a hakama. Product photos and the best places to pre-order this scene-inspiring Jean Bart await!
Pre-orders are now open for Mataro’s “Nure China” original character brought into glorious, squishy, sticky 1/6th scale by Rocket Boy. She’s wearing a outfit vaguely reminiscent of a cheongsam (China dress), which includes a thoughtful effect relating to her cast-off. Instead of removing the pelvis covering entirely, you may drape them over her wrist and tail respectively.
Also taking inspiration from Japan’s Taishou period, comes Iris Collect Kano/Taishou Sakura Otome Café (Ponytail Hair ver.)! On this occasion, Kano has her light brown hair in a ponytail. As with her “Hair Half Up” variant, her bright red kimono suits her hair and is the center of her display options. The floral print on her red kimono, dark grey hakama, and brown boots is an especially pleasing combination.
Inspired by Japan’s Taishou period from AZONE’s Iris Collect series of fashion dolls comes “Kano/Taishou Sakura Otome Café (Half Hair Up ver.)” Kano has a variety of display options revolving around her black floral kimono, which suits her flowing reddish brown hair.
