KADOKAWA presents a 1/7th scale figure of Darkness from "KONO SUBARASHII SEKAI NI SYUKUFUKU WO!"! She's been recreated based on Kurone Mishima's illustration from the 14th volume of the light novel. Darkness has a somewhat embarrassed look on her face as she shows off her voluptuous curves. Darkness' cute pose as she spills her ice cream has been perfectly captured. Be sure to add her to your collection!

"Don't look", you say? Oh, but I will look and I will continue to look until I decide not to look anymore!

Darkness' cute flustered expression makes you want to tease her, no? I'm surprised to see her leading this new swimsuit lineup, I thought the fan-favorite Megumin would be up first. That is, I'm certainly not complaining about the objectively best girl in the entire series getting more attention. I digress, this is a quite agreeable figure of Darkness.

Here is a sample of the illustration by Mishima Kurone on which her outfit and pose has been based.

Rather than over emphasizing the service aspect of her design, I like how her swimsuit accentuates her body, passively conveying her well-defined proportions. Her color scheme is another part of the sculpt which I like; the green cloth wrapping her leg, does well to break the yellow of her hair and orange bikini.

Although subjected to the most praise, Darkness' face and swaying ponytail, which demonstrates motion, has in addition to her body, been beautifully sculpted with consideration to the source material.

For what you get, she comes in at a relatively low and, I think, fair price. Rounding off, Fundoshi, once again delivered a good sculpt. Now, over to you, what do you think of this Darkness figure?
