Hello, today we'll be taking a look at Aniplex's exclusive Utaha-senpai, who shows up as a maid. A maid version never cropped up in my mind. Looking at the different figure versions of her, it's a bit short-sighted. Not really, because a typical French maid she is not, but a café maid!
Just a quick glance at her face and you can see that she has a distinct air about her this time. It immediately reminded me of REVOLVE's "Yukinoshita Yukino Lingerie Ver." in that her face is wider than usual and that her complexion is lighter too. Not only is the surface of her face broader, her eyes are also smaller, just a touch, though. They look gentle because of it, and there's no bite or seduction in her expression either; her eyebrows help with that.
Not only for her expression, she feels different because of her pose. Before we move on to her excellent outfit, I want to point out her hands and skin. First, Utaha's skin isn't a uniform color. It becomes slightly lighter from her elbow to her hands, where it darkens to pink by her fingers. Next are her wrists and hands, specifically the outer part of her palm, just before her wrist. I appreciate that they sculpted the compressed muscle in her hand as she holds it at that angle. Not only is it thoughtful, but it also brings realism to the figure. As we move on, it's evident that "realism" isn't in short supply.
