We start our list with a hug from the sweet tasting Vanilla! Besides her cute expression with outstretched arms, her charm lies in her modest color palette. Although it has virtually no shading, her vanilla-colored hair impresses with its detail and how it plays off her skin and even her deep blue maid outfit.

As with Vanilla, Good Smile Company's super deformed Nendoroid UMP45 joins our list with an outstretched hand. She places 4th with a slim margin and it's not because she has an assault rifle in her other hand! With a cool look in her eye, UMP45 clears fourth for the amount of detail retained in the chibi-fication of her outfit. The yellow and sufficiently distinct shades of gray allow your eyes to focus on the individual sections of the outfit. Bar none, her top highlight are the creases in her tiny boots.
While she may be part of team 404 in the game, it's for all of these reasons you can find her on our list of favorite super deformed figures of 2019!

Next up is Nendoroid Raphtalia from the Rising of the Shield Hero. Her cute expression with raised arm makes it look like she just walked into a situation that she doesn't fully comprehend. Raphtalia's cuteness is indeed incomprehensible.
Her annoyed expression with puffed up cheek is also a highlight. Another is how she's offering the meal, again with an annoyed expression. For all her annoyed and confused wide-eyed expressions, this cute tanuki deserves infinite head-pats and earns a spot on our list of favorite super deformed figures of 2019.

Taking 2nd place is the limited Nendoroid Rider/Altria Pendragon (Alter). She comes with three faces and all of them are good. Looking like a master with her half-eaten ice cream and cheeky expression isn't how a maid should look! In addition to her ice cream, she also comes with a variety of accessories, most of them look like they're intended to cause harm.
Perhaps the broom inflicts harm upon herself. As a nod to the gag "Fate/Grand Order Learning with Manga!" she has a disinterested face heavily implying that she doesn't want to work.

Good Smile Company's Nendoroid Ichi is indeed ichiban as she comes out on top of our list of favorite super deformed figures! But not for her name alone. Her pure black sailor outfit with green accent give a sleek look. Her green eyes aren't necessarily piercing, but they are intimidating with her unflinching expression. Reinforcing her intimidating air are her three sheathed swords that she can dual wield and are almost as tall as she is. Including her tactical combat knife, all of her accessories are intended to inflict harm upon others, unlike Rider/Altria Pendragon (Alter), whose broom inflicts damage upon herself.
When she's not swinging her sword and scowling while doing so, she can make a cute face like Raphtalia with a similar grabbing pose. Nendoroid Ichi from Heavily Armed High School Girls can take you down in a number of ways, but none more deadly than her cuteness and that is why she's our #1 for 2019.
